Event Description:
Join us for MOT Charter's High School campus Open House! MOT Charter is an independent, state chartered public school serving students Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
Our high school program opened in 2014 and in the five years has many notable achievements, including:
* 100% of our first TWO graduating class (Class of 2018 & 2019) received college acceptances
* Member of the Diamond State Athletic Conference, in 2018 the Lacrosse team competed in the state finals
* The 2018 Odyssey of the Mind team was first in the state and competed at Worlds, the 2019 team took 8th place at World competition.
* Students have been named for National Merit, Delaware Secretary of Education Scholars winners, and one graduate received appointment to West Point.
* Academy of Science & Technology principal Dr. John Scali is a PAEMIST Award winner
* 2018 Delaware Charter School Network Teacher of the Year and PAEMIST finailist
* For the past 3 years, our students were finalists in the Delaware Young Playwrights Festival
Come learn why our Academy of Arts and Academy of Science & Technology programs are changing the way students prepare for post-secondary education, and empowering students to develop the skills needed to make a positive impact in the community.
