The St. Anne’s Episcopal School Parent Association (SAPA) is sponsoring the ‘No-Sweat’ Personal Safety Course taught by Mr. Josh Kite, on January 18
th, 2017, from 6:00-8pm at St. Anne’s Episcopal School, 211 Silver Lake Rd. Normally a $120/person training, this class is offered at no cost for individuals ages 14 years and older who register in advance by 1/15/17. Child care will be available. Space is limited, to register email

“We support everyone’s safety in our community,” said SAPA President Kathleen Murray-Lyons, “individuals living in our area who do not have children at St. Anne’s are welcome.”
Josh Kite is a fourth grade teacher at St. Anne’s, and head instructor of Lantern Taekwondo, Inc. He holds black belts in Taekwondo and Hapkido, and is a Tactical Master Instructor in CDT Non-Deadly Force Training.
Mr. Kite co-developed the ‘No Sweat class’ with Michael Westerberg, head of Lantern Taekwondo and an acclaimed expert in personal safety. “We wanted to come up with a class that was practical and easy to learn. The course is really about training your brain, and how to think and be aware of your surroundings. It is not martial arts, nor martial arts based.” notes Mr. Kite.
