Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce Announces
State Cornhole Champions

 

 
 
 
Middletown,Delaware - September 10, 2018 -The Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC) is pleased to announce the championship teams from the 4th Annual Corntober BrewFest held on September 8th at the Frog Hollow Edge of 18 Clubhouse.

Residents from the Delmarva region came out to support 25 teams as they braved the storm for the Delaware State Championship Cornhole Tournament.
Congratulations to our winners: State Champs 1st - Trey Jewell and Tony Jewell, 2nd place - Jamie Hudson and John Kitchen, 3rd place - Jerry Kryspin Jr. and Rudy Thomas Jr., Social Division Champs - Richie DeSantis and Doug Perry.
Joe Polkowski was the winner of the custom cornhole boards.

A big note of gratitude to sponsors & vendors: Frog Hollow, Edge of 18,  Delaware Cornhole Association, ClearChannel Outdoor, IHeart Radio, the Middletown Area Chamber of Commerce and our amazing volunteers too. Lt. Governor Bethany Hall-Long stopped by to share in the celebration also!

Corntober Brewfest features music, great food and a selection of fall brews and activities.  The event is home to the state's only Cornhole Championship Tournament sanctioned by then Governor Jack Markell as a State of Delaware Championship and it is a double elimination tournament. 

A portion of the proceeds benefit the MACC Foundation with scholarships to graduating students and also supports businesses through the Middletown Business Incubator & Collaborative Workspace.
